Little Hands Fundraisers
Little Hands Kids for a Cause is a non-profit organization, which means that all of our funds come from either donations or fundraisers! Not only does Little Hands hold fundraisers on our own, we also have help from others. Some of these fundraisers held by us and others include: Paint for a Cause, Hoopin' Around the Clock, Annual Jace Walk, Domino’s Pizza for a Cause and Sorority trivia night!
Little Hands Paint for a Cause:
Paint for a Cause was an event in March 2025, held at the WFCU Center in Windsor and organized by Event Management students at St. Clair College! The students worked for months to ensure that everything about this event was accessible, well organized and true to the meaning of our cause. For this event, tickets were $30 and all materials were provided for guests to enjoy a guided watercolour painting experience! Snacks and coffees were also provided to attendees, information was shared about Little Hands and everyone had a wonderful afternoon painting. This fundraiser raised over $5000 and was a huge help for our cause! We would like to extend a big thank you to the EMS students, their amazing professor, sponsors and everyone involved!
Hoopin' Around the Clock:
Hoopin' Around the Clock is an event organized by Highrise Basketball and held every year in which St. Clair College staff and students come to play basketball for hours on end. It is a tournament with hundreds of participants and many teams. They play basketball for well over 24 hours in order to raise money as they play! We are honoured to have received donations from the annual Hoopin' around the Clock event! Since 2022, Little Hands has been a beneficiary for this event. We are extremely grateful to Highrise Basketball for their substantial donations every year!
Annual Jace Walk:
Jace Sauve Walk is an annual event held by the Sauve family to honour our Superhero Jace. Family, friends and the community participate in this walk and support the organizations that supported Jace during his fight. We are so thankful for the consistent support from the annual Jace Walk!
Domino's Pizza for a Cause:
Domino's Pizza-making fun was an event was a joint effort fundraiser between Little Hands and Domino's Tilbury. They sold medium pizzas for $5 each and 100% of the proceeds were donated to Little Hands. Domino's also let a select number of Heroes and their families come in and make their own pizzas in the kitchen in the morning. It was just a day to raise money and let the children have fun. They raised over $2000 and we are so grateful for their donations!
Sorority Trivia Night:
In November of 2024, Nu Mu Sorority hosted a family trivia night at the Masonic Temple in Essex. It consisted of teams of 4-6 who participated in a fun, trivia competition with the goal to raise funds to support our Little Hands families and programs. We are extremely grateful to all those who attended and to the Nu Mu Sorority for organizing this fantastic event! We are very thankful for their support and donations!
